11^th Kulsammelan of Marathe Pratishthan was held on 7^th Jan 2018 at Natraj Mangal Karyalaya Vadodara, Gujrat.  More than 200 persons from extended Marathe Clan attended from all over India. The daylong proceedings were presided over by Shri Vasantrao Marathe, the first mayor of Thane city near Mumbai. The Chairman and Managing Director of Bank of Maharashtra, Shri. Ravindra Marathe was special guest. 

Many leading personalities had sent messages wishing success for the sammelan, the most noteworthy were from Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi, Rajmata of Baroda Smt. Shubhanginiraje Gayakwad, Gujrat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, Justice D.G. Kariya of Gujrat high Court, and newly elected Mayor of New Jersey Windsor Shri. Hemant Marathe.   

Each attendee was welcomed with traditional ‘attar’ and ‘Pedhe’ and was presented with gift articles including mementoes for the occasion. Cultural programs including the traditional ‘Garba’ of Gujrat, involved the local artists. The interactive programs witnessed enthusiastic participation by the attendees. The Marathe Families from Vadodara were excellent hosts and the attendees were served tasty snacks and food throughout the day.

The proceedings ended with an interactive session in which many members expressed their gratitude towards the organizers.
